Welcome

The High Farm is the home of my family - the Oakes - as it has been since 1976. My father and mother raised my brother and I within an atmosphere of environmental respect. We always had horses grazing the land  (my first word was horse!). I have been riding since I was four years old. I grew up exploring the trails and historical sites around our valley. After years of enjoying this private paradise, we have decided that it should be shared with other nature enthusiasts. My husband, Steve and I have carried on the family tradition of hand made homes, lunches in the open air, friends arriving from all parts of the world and horses - always the horses . . .

We have brought together a wonderful herd of gentle horses for you to enjoy.
